Capital Campaign Details

In order to raise the final $2.5 million needed to complete the project, we have launched our first-ever capital campaign. While the organization has been successful securing a diverse mix of funding sources for its programs and operations, the capital campaign goal is larger and more ambitious than ever before.

Through the capital campaign process we are engaging our current and past corporate and foundation funders at a deeper, more substantial level; identifying new sources of institutional support; leveraging city, state and federal funding opportunities; reaching out to the real estate development community; and cultivating new individual major donors.

Campaign Leadership/Capital Campaign Committee

We are delighted to report that Hon. Thomas M. Menino, Mayor of the City of Boston, has signed on as the Honorary Chairman of our Capital Campaign. The Mayor's endorsement and support of the project demonstrates to the corporate, philanthropic and business communities the viability of the effort and the importance it holds for the city.

Under the leadership of Campaign Champion Julie Connelly of Citizens Bank, the Project Place Capital Campaign committee is a growing list of corporate, community and civic leaders who have pledged to work with us to meet our fundraising goal. Through outreach, targeted meetings and community events, we will reach beyond our current donor base to identify, cultivate and deliver new sources of financial support.
